Welcome to 2011

We are so excited to welcome the New Year of 2011.  We have a lot of high hopes. We look forward to sharing our hopes with you. You can find us at two locations; www.bonanza.com/jewelssosweet and also at www.zibbet.com/jewelssosweet. We love to have you visit each shop. There is a lot to offer at each one. This year we are starting off with a set of goals. We are doing our best to be organized. We have a set of small goals to share with  you that are in no particular order.   

   

• Goal 1: to blog on a more regular basis 
• Goal 2: to list all our items we have in stock regularly 
• Goal 3: to continue to offer the best customer service possible 
• Goal 4: to update our website at http://www.jewelssosweet.com/ 
• Goal 5: to list on twitter and facebook on a regular basis - our twitter address is www.twitter.com/jewelssosweet and our facebook address is www.facebook.com/jewelssosweet
• Goal 6: to continue to ship our items as fast as possible, usually within a few days, because I am blind it may take anywhere between 3-10 business days. 
• Goal 7: to communicate with our customers about new products 
• Goal 8: to continue to send our products off in the best presentation possible 
• Goal 9: to be organized in all our affairs
• Goal 10: to make our goals happen

We are excited about these goals and even have more within the company. We are excited about 2011 and the possibilities it has to offer. We look forward to fulfilling our goals.

Updates in 2010

We sure have learned this year that we must learn to make blogging more of a priority in the upcoming year. We have noticed from our dates that we just haven't done well with the task yet. But we are getting ahead of ourselves. We want this to be about some of the updates that have happened in 2010.

First we will start with Bonanza. Bonanzle as it once was called changed it's name to Bonanza in the Fall. So our new address there is www.bonanza.com/JewelsSoSweet. We have over 475 items listed there at this time with more to come. It is really a fun place to list items and is very community orientated. We enjoy having our items there. Come visit us soon.

The biggest news and changes have been on Zibbet. You can find us there at www.zibbet.com/JewelsSoSweet. Zibbet has made many great changes over the past year to make it easier for the seller and the buyer. You can now find things much easier with a great search feature. You can also find things better on our site there by our categories. We love Zibbet! We mainly sell wedding hair supplies on Zibbet, which many can also be worn as daily wear. We also sell our own handmade jewels there, which we are working on expanding one of these days. Being blind, it makes it a challenge to make your own jewelry, but we know it is possible as we have made some, but we hope increase the number of handmade items in 2011. We dream big! We think you will enjoy the changes that Zibbet has made over the past year. Come check us out there.

We added a helper at Jewels So Sweet in 2010. Her name is Claudia Paz. She is a gal I have been mentoring since she was in elementary school. She is now a Freshman! Where does the time go? Claudia is a great help. She is with us 2 days a week and is very instrumental in helping with orders, organizing, cleaning, packaging, filing, etc. She is learning a lot and we are too! She is a great asset and we are so happy to have her. Most likely your order was picked, packed and shipped by Claudia.

As we mentioned we now have over 475 products now with more to be listed. We have selected only quality items to sell to you. We think we have done a great job picking items that make a great variety - something for every gal out there. We also believe we have stuck to items that are in good taste with style and appeal. It is important for us to offer you quality, variety, and style at a great price. We have worked really hard not to have any item sell for more than $20.00. You will be very pleased with all our incredible prices. You just can beat the quality, variety and style for the price. 475 items is a lot of products to select from. It is a good thing they are all sorted by the type of item they are on both of our selling sites.

We are now on BONANZLE!

We have searched & searched & came across a great site to sell some of our items. The site is called BONANZLE! It is a lot of fun. You can chat with members, look at your stats, sell, buy, it really is fun & functional. We are excited to be there. We have started to list our items. We are not nearly done, but we have a good start. We have already been chosen twice for 2 ouf our items to be showcased on the front page! Pretty exciting! We hope you will visit us at our new site, but not our only site. We are still a whole hearted Zibbet lover. There are just items that we have chosen to sell on Bonanzle.

The Zibbet Way - Another reason I love Zibbet!

I just wanted to quickly jump in here to add my two cents worth to what has been a pretty hectic week here at Zibbet, and apparently an 'interesting' one at Etsy.
I just wanted you guys to be able to get a bit of a philosophical feel for how Jonathan and I and our team like to run our organisation.
I figure if people are going to have the opportunity to trust us, then it will require communication and getting to know one another a bit more.
So in that vein I'd like to list a few of our beliefs and values concerning how we would like to see Zibbet move forward as it grows bigger.

1. I want to say very emphatically that here at Z we are not in the business of bagging other venues. Whether they are better or worse than Z, we are not here to cast a shadow on what they do. Especially in light of events this week, let me say we are not interested in tearing down Etsy. We have a lot of respect for Etsy and what they have achieved and there is lots that we can learn from them.
2. Our leadership of Zibbet will not always be perfect, because as humans, we are imperfect. However, we will always endeavour to give our very best effort for the marketplace we have created and those who choose to belong to it. We will make mistakes, but we will never stop trying not to.
3. We will always seek to maintain the highest level of communication with our members as possible. This is motivated by the genuine desire to make Zibbet the best selling venue it possibly can be for your sake. We will always try to be available to our sellers by answering questions, listening to concerns or ideas and generally just being available to personally contribute to peoples' needs. Even as we grow very big, Jonathan and I plan to stay heavily involved in communicating directly with as many sellers as we possibly can. We know this will stretch us, but we are committed to it.
4. Common courtesy is a passion of ours so this will continue to dictate our behaviors and the way in which we interact with you. We believe if someone asks a question they deserve an answer. If we make a mistake, we will own it and apologise. We aim to treat every person with respect. We know we will probably not be able to please everyone, but we will not engage in the practice of 'simply writing people off' because they are upset about something.

All of this may sound lofty or overly romantic and nostalgic, but it is the truthful reality of our desire going forward.
